Alisa Widmer, FSA, MAAA is the President and Lead Actuary at Widmer Actuarial, Inc. Alisa has provided health actuarial audit and consulting services for more than two decades. She specializes in managed care including commercial, dental and vision, and supplemental health including cancer, accident and disability. Alisa’s areas of expertise include liability valuation, financial reporting, actuarial opinions, and process and control analysis. She managed actuarial audit assistance for various large multi-national companies including review of multiple reporting bases for various health products. She has been an appointed actuary for various health plans and insurance companies over the last 10 years.
